Since 2018 we have worked with communities to install 16 devices in several locations including Doubtless Bay, Karikari Peninsula, Whangaroa, Bream Bay & Coromandel Peninsula.
In January 2019 and January 2020 Waipu Cove Surf Life Saving Club toured Northland providing beach safety education and surf life saving rescue demonstrations. Maitai Bay, Cable Bay and Tauranga Bay were included. Waipu Cove Surf Life Saving Club has provided much appreciated support to Operation Flotation.
